KLEK will host our annual Fall Pledge Drive September 19th-September 23rd this year, with a twist! This year we will have themed days, something of a Spirit Week with KLEK 102.5 FM. We would love for the Jonesboro Community to support us! The days and some of the activities we have planned for that week are listed below. Monday Sept. 19th
Music Appreciation Day
KLEK 102.5 FM is a radio station so we know about the importance of music! Help us celebrate the musical genres that make up our radio station as well as other local organizations and people who have made a musical impact as well.
Tuesday Sept. 20th
Wish List Tuesday
It takes a lot of time, money, and supplies to keep KLEK going. Today we hope to get some of the items found on our station’s Amazon wish list. Donate money toward an item or purchase the item we’ll need.
Wednesday Sept. 21st
Civil Superheroes Day
KLEK will be hearing from some of Jonesboro’s mightiest heroes who, not only help our city but have taken the time to talk to you about the impact KLEK has on the Jonesboro community at large
Thursday Sept. 22nd
Challenge Day
We challenge you to donate, then challenge others to give as well! Along with personal challenges you can make, the KLEK staff will be participating in some challenges of our own. (Elliptical time for LaGanzie, squats with Terell and the ladies from Bomb Body Health and Beauty, painting for Allie).
Friday Sept. 23rd
Food & Friends Day
Thanks to our friends at First Security Bank, KLEK will be firing up the Teal Grill as well as serving up some homemade chili. Come enjoy some food (while it lasts) and hang out with us! Share what you like about KLEK (online and/or on the air) or share ideas for what you would like to see KLEK doing in the future!
