    PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (9/8/26) – Yinyoe Yang turned in a 2-under par 69 Tuesday to lead the Arkansas State women’s golf team in the final round Tuesday at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

    Playing her third collegiate round, Yang had a day to remember on the par-71, 6,004-yard course. Yang birdied her first hole, the par-5 10th and bogeyed the par four 16th and was even par heading to the par-5 eighth. Yang chipped in for eagle to finish up at 2-under par 69 and a tie for 26th at 5-over par 218 (76-73-69). Caroline Hughes (+10) tied for 47th, Sofia Bastidas (+11) tied for 51st, Mackenzie Cloutier (+12) tied for 57th, Kayla Van de Ven (+15) tied for 77th and Ceci Lococo (+17) tied for 89th.

    A-State showed steady improved in the event with its best round coming in the final round at 7-over par 291. The Red Wolves totaled 34-over par 886 (298-297-291) for the 54-hole tournament, three back of Lipscomb for 12th and eight back of Stetson for 10th. UNC Wilmington took home team honors at 2-over par 854.

    The Red Wolves return to action Sept. 19-21 at the Schooner Fall Classic hosted by the University of Oklahoma at Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Okla.
