JONESBORO, Ark. (4/18/25) – Arkansas State women’s basketball head coach Destinee Rogers adds an experienced guard from Gardner-Webb in Amina Gray.
Gray’s shooting comes as a welcome addition to add range to the roster. “I am so excited to welcome Amina to the family,” Coach Rogers expressed. “Amina can shoot the three-ball efficiently. She is crafty and will be a big piece in our system. Jonesboro will love watching her play!”
As a junior with the Runnin’ Bulldogs Gray started all 31 games, averaging over 30 minutes, 12.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. She averaged 39 percent from the field, 38 percent from three, and 87 at the free throw line. Gray scored a career-best 27 points against Winthrop (Feb. 7), and pulled in six rebounds at ETSU (Dec. 18).
In her freshman and sophomore seasons at Gardner-Webb she made one start across 21 appearances in limited minutes.
