PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio (4/9/26) – Maggie Thoma and Karli VanDuinen of the Arkansas State women’s bowling team were recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) as All-America selections, the organization announced Thursday at an awards banquet held ahead of the National Collegiate Bowling Championship in Cleveland.

Thoma earns First Team All-America honors for the second consecutive season, becoming just the third player in A-State history to receive the recognition multiple times, joining Sarah Lokker (2013–14, 2014–15) and Jordan Richard (2015–16, 2016–17, 2017–18). VanDuinen, a two-time Second Team All-America pick (2023-24, 2024-25) is the sixth player to earn All-America recognition in three or more seasons joining Brooklyn Buchanan, Taylor Davis, Sarah Lokker, Haley Richard, Jordan Richard and Faith Welch. The All-America teams are a result of voting by participating head coaches.

Thoma ranked eighth on the NTCA Player Composite Performance Index (PCPI) at 95.335 percent. Thoma sports an overall average of 213.5, rolling 213.5 in traditional games and 215.0 in Baker. She doubled in Baker at a 61.2 percent clip and carried an 22.37 average in the 10th frame over all games. She ranked fourth nationally in overall average per frame at 21.351. She rolled a 300 at the Big Red Invite this season.

VanDuinen ranked 38th in the PCPI at 83.073 percent. She posted an overall average of 202.5, 207.6 in traditional games and 199.1 in Baker. She was the top individual finisher at the Penguin Classic and was inside the top 50 in all eight regular season events. Over 41 traditional frames, she had a high of 279 with 23 gams of 200-plus pins.

The Red Wolves have had at least one All-America choice every year since the program began in the 2004-05 season. This is the 17th season, 15th consecutive, that the Red Wolves have had multiple All-America picks. A-State has had 51 NTCA All-Americans in program history, third-most among any program.

A-State is set to appear in the National Collegiate Bowling Championship in Parma Heights, Ohio, April 10-11 at Yorktown Lanes. The Red Wolves won the Pittsburgh Regional and are assured of a top four finish in the NCAA Championship for the seventh time in program history.

The Red Wolves open the National Collegiate Bowling Championship against second-seeded Vanderbilt at 8 a.m. (CT) Friday. A live stream is available on NCAA.com.
