JONESBORO, Ark. (5/2/24) – Arkansas State women’s soccer head coach Brian Dooley has announced the dates for three upcoming summer camps and registration is open.

Session I of the Red Wolves Soccer Camp for boys and girls ages 6-14 will take place May 29 – May 31 while Session II lasts from July 22 – July 24. Both will run from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Arkansas State Soccer Complex.

The camp will cover dribbling skills, shooting, ball control, and 1v1 attacking/defending. The first half of each day will be focused on developing these skills while the second half of the program will be scrimmages designed to apply the topics.

On July 28, A-State will host the Red Wolves Soccer Summer ID Camp for girls in 7th – 12th grade from 9:30-3:30 p.m.

The camp will begin with a technical session for field players and a separate session for goalkeepers before transitioning to 7v7 and 11v11 games. A Q+A session consisting of an introduction to college recruiting and the life of a student athlete will follow after lunch.

Cost of each summer camp is $125. The Student Activities Center on the campus of Arkansas State will serve as an alternate location in case of poor weather conditions.

Per NCAA rules, Red Wolves Soccer Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender. Disclaimer: Please note that in accordance with NCAA Rules, an athletics booster or other representative of Arkansas State’s athletics interests may not pay for any expense (e.g., registration fee, travel, lodging, etc.) related to a prospective student-athlete’s participation in a sports camp or clinic administered by Arkansas State or any of its coaches or staff members.
