EUGENE, Ore. (6/12/24) – Arkansas State track and field’s Noa Isaia took bronze in the men’s hammer throw on Wednesday to highlight a trio of performances for the Red Wolves at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships, held at Hayward Field.
Isaia tossed the implement 65.46m (214-9) to earn his podium finish.
Chris Boyd placed 19th in the men’s discus throw, hurling a distance of 50.08m (164-3).
In the men’s 400-meter hurdles prelims, Josh Jones finished 13th with a time of 53.61.
Action continues on Thursday in Eugene, with Miranda Burgett in the women’s high jump (4 p.m. CT) and Boyd in the men’s shot put (8 p.m.).
