JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (3/7/23) – Turning in a final round 9-over par 297, the Arkansas State women’s golf team finished ninth among 17 teams at the UNF Collegiate played at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.
The Red Wolves finished up ninth, one stroke behind Kennesaw State and two strokes behind Daytona State for seventh. Sam Houston finished at 14-under par 850 to top Furman by 14 strokes while Western Kentucky and North Florida were tied for third at 10-over par 874.
Olivia Schmidt carded her ninth par or better round of the season to lead A-State on Tuesday. Schmidt turned in a 1-under par 71 to climb 19 spots to finish tied for 23rd with a total of 220. Morgan Beaulieu registered a final round 5-over par 77 to total 221 and tied for 29th while Elise Schultz tied for 39th with a total of 224. Kayla Burke was 2-over par 74 in the final round and finished tied for 43rd at 225 with Casey Sommer tied for 50th at 226.
