POINT CLEAR, Ala. (4/20/26) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team began play at the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Women’s Golf Championship Monday and stand 10th among 13 teams after the opening round at Lakewood Golf Club.
A-State turned in an 18-over par 306 to rank 10th, one back of James Madison and Troy for eighth and three back of Old Dominion and South Alabama for fifth. App State leads the field at 3-under par 285 followed by ULM (E), Texas State (+9) and Coastal Carolina (+13).
Freshman Mackenzie Cloutier paced the Red Wolves with a 1-over par 73 to rank 11th individually five back of Daniela Campillo Martinez of ULM and Manya Saini of Troy for the lead. Olivia Coit and Sofia Bastidas are among nine players tied for 33rd after a 5-over par 77. Morgan Beaulieu (+7) is tied for 45th and Anne-Lea Lavoie (+11) is tied for 59th to round out the A-State players in the field.
Tee times for the second round begin at 8 a.m. off No. 1 and No. 10 tees. Live coverage begins at 10:00 a.m. on ESPN+ and live scoring is available on Scoreboard.
