NORMAN, Okla. (9/19/26) – Second year Mackenzie Cloutier paced the Arkansas State women’s golf team with a 1-over par 71 as the Red Wolves began play at the Schooner Fall Classic hosted by the University of Oklahoma.
Cloutier rolled in a pair of birdies on her round and finished at 1-over on the par-70, 6,182-yard course. Cloutier enters Sunday’s second round tied for 35th individually. Kayla Van de Ven and Yinyoe Yang totaled 4-over par 74 to tie for 67th. Ceci Lococo and Sofia Bastidas totaled 7-over par 77 to tie for 87th while Caroline Hughes was 93rd at 16-over par 86.
A-State totaled 16-over par 296 for 15th among 16 teams, 10 of which hail from power conferences. The Red Wolves trail Oral Roberts by two for 14th while Tulane, Baylor and Georgia are tied for 10th at 5-over par 285. TCU led the field on day one at 10-under par 270 while host Oklahoma was second at 8-under par 272.
The second round gets underway at 8:00 a.m. Sunday at Belmar Golf Club.
