PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (9/7/25) – Junior Anne-Lea Lavoie carded a 2-under par 69 to lead the Arkansas State women’s golf team in the first round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf Club.
Lavoie is tied for seventh individually, three strokes back of Tien-In Uang of Charlotte (-5) for the individual lead. For the round, Lavoie totaled five birdies against three bogeys for her third career round below 70. Senior Morgan Beaulieu turned in an even-par 71 to tie for 18th while sophomore Sofia Bastidas was 3-over par 74 to tie for 46th. Junior Ceci Lococo (+8) and Olivia Coit (+10) rounded out the five in the play five, count four format.
Finishing up the first round of the season at 9-over par 293, A-State is 12th among the 20 teams in the field. The Red Wolve are one stroke back of Boise State and UNC Greensboro for 10th and just five back of East Carolina and Campbell for fourth. Charlotte (-11) was the lone team under par Sunday and leads Coastal Carolina (E) entering the second round.
