JONESBORO, Ark. (4/25/25) – Arkansas State women’s basketball adds size and speed to the 2026-27 lineup with Eastern Kentucky junior transfer Jasmine Jackson.

“I am so excited about Jas!” Head Coach Destinee Rogers remarked, “She brings a new dynamic to our offense that we haven’t had with our fives. She can really shoot it and she’s super mobile. She will be great in our system. Jonesboro will love her!”

Jackson played in 26 games off the bench for EKU, averaging 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds on an average of six minutes per game. She erupted with a season-best game at Bellarmine, playing 20 minutes while scoring 15 points, on 60 percent shooting (6-of-10), with three triples landed. Her season-high in boards came against Midway with 11 rebounds in a double-double performance.

Prior to playing with the Colonels, Jackson played her freshman season at University of Rio Grande, starting 31 of the 32 games while averaging 18.2 points and 14.0 rebounds per game, leading the RedStorm to a River States Conference Championship and appearance in the NAIA National Championship. She was named First-Team All-RSC and RSC Freshman of the Year.

Prepped at Boyd County HS in Ashland, Kentucky, where she totaled over 1,600 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career.
