The ABIS mission is to explore how sports drive equity, build community, and shape legacy beyond the game. Coaches named are considered to be the year’s most deserving, qualified, and prepared Black coaches in college sports to elevate their careers to the next level. Coach Rogers is one of 11 women’s basketball head coaches listed.
In her fourth season at the helm of the Red Wolves, Coach Rogers has led Arkansas State to a 24-9 record, the most wins in the last 10 years, and has set multiple offensive and defensive records, while placing amongst the leaders the NCAA in multiple categories, such as turnovers forced (1st), steals (2nd), three-pointers made (3rd), and bench points (4th).
