    JONESBORO, Ark. (5/30/24) – With the 2024 Arkansas State football season less than 100 days away, kickoff times and television designations were announced Thursday for the Red Wolves’ first four contests of the year.

    The Red Wolves begin their fourth season under head coach Butch Jones with a 28th all-time meeting against Central Arkansas on Saturday, Aug. 31, at Centennial Bank Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. with the broadcast on ESPN+. Hosting back-to-back home games to begin a season for the second time since joining the FBS level in 1992, A-State hosts Tulsa on Saturday, Sept. 7, with kickoff at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN+.

    Meeting the defending national champion Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 14, A-State will appear on the Big Ten Network with kickoff at 11:00 a.m. (CT) from Ann Arbor, Mich. One week later, the Red Wolves close the non-conference schedule with a 1:00 p.m. contest at Iowa State that will air via Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

    Television networks for the Red Wolves’ remaining eight games will be announced at a later date. Game times were previously announced as 6:00 p.m. for home games against South Alabama (Oct. 5) and Troy (Oct. 26) and 2:00 p.m. for contests at Centennial Bank Stadium against ULM (Nov. 23) and Old Dominion (Nov. 30) pending television designations.

    Tickets for contests at Michigan (Sept. 14), Iowa State (Sept. 21) and Texas State (Oct. 12) are available now through the A-State Ticket Office by visiting AStateRedWolves.com/Tickets or calling 870-972-2401. To guarantee your away game tickets, please complete the request at least two (2) weeks prior to the contest.

    The Red Wolves are coming off a bowl-game appearance for the first time since 2019 and announced 36 players as part of its 2024 recruiting class that ranked first in the Sun Belt Conference. A-State returns 15 starters, 10 on offense and five on defense, and a total of 55 letterwinners.

    A-State will appear at Sun Belt Conference Media Days on Wednesday, July 24 in New Orleans. Season tickets may be purchased by calling the Red Wolves Foundation at 870-972-2401 or online by visiting AStateRedWolves.com/Tickets.
