JONESBORO, Ark. (6/30/25) – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced today its 2024-25 All-American Scholars, and Arkansas State placed four students on the prestigious list.
Arkansas State has now placed multiple players on the list in 15 consecutive years. This year’s WGCA All-American Scholars includes A-State’s Sofia Bastidas, Olivia Coit, Caroline Hughes and Anne-Lea Lavoie.
The WGCA All-American Scholars Team requires a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and participation in at least 50 percent of the team’s tournaments to be eligible for the honor. Coit receives the honor for the third consecutive season while Lavoie makes back-to-back lists. It is the first honor for Bastidas and Hughes.
