EUGENE, Ore. (6/11/25) – Three Arkansas State track and field athletes competed in opening day at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday, resulting in an All-American First Team selection along with an All-American Honorable Mention.
Bradley Jelmert cleared 5.63m (18-5 ½) in the pole vault to finish third among 24 contestants and claim bronze. The finish secured an All-American First Team distinction, the third All-American honor of his career.
Noa Isaia placed 19th in the hammer throw, posting a mark of 65.08 (213-6) over three attempts to earn an All-American Honorable Mention.
Colby Eddowes concluded the first of two days in the decathlon with a fourth-place finish, tallying 4,112 points over five events. He is 367 points behind first place after recording top five finishes in three of the first five events.
The junior placed 10th in the 100 meters, second in long jump, 18th in shot put, third in high jump, and fifth in the 400 meters.
