JONESBORO, Ark. (10/13/26) – Mackenzie Cloutier earned co-medalist honors and the Arkansas State women’s golf team won the Lady Red Wolves Classic Tuesday at Sage Meadows Country Club.

Cloutier turned in a final round 5-under par 67 to finish at 7-under 209 for the tournament and joined Alethea Paige Caccion and Gabi Nicastro in a tie for medalist honors. Cloutier’s 7-under 209 ties for the sixth-lowest 54-hole total in program history. Cloutier is the first medalist for A-State since Madison Tenore at The Atlantic Invitational in the spring of 2024.

Including Cloutier, three Red Wolves carded a total of 5-under par 67 in the final round, tied for the seventh-lowest round in program history. Kayla Van de Ven and Michelle Barrios used the 5-under par 67 to finish tied for fourth at 6-under 210, tied for the 10th-lowest 54-hole total in program history. Caroline Hughes was even in the final round and tied for 27th overall at 3-over par 219. Sofia Bastidas (+4) tied for 31st, Yinyoe Yang (+6) was 42nd, Zaida Wise (+14) tied for 65th and Ceci Lococo (+16) tied for 67th.

A-State surged to the title behind a 5-under par 283, tied for the sixth-lowest round in program history. The Red Wolves finished with a season-low 54-hole total of 3-under par 861, the third-lowest 54-hole total in program history and lowest by A-State at its home event. A-State edged Murray State (-2) by one shot and Austin Peay (E) took third place. Central Arkansas (+4), Little Rock (+5), West Georgia (+9), Troy (+12), Illinois State (+15), Samford (+22) and Morehead State (+24) completed the top 10 in the 13-team field.

The Red Wolves continue their fall slate Oct. 18-20 at the Diamante Intercollegiate hosted by Little Rock in Hot Springs Village, Ark.
