    LOUISVILLE, Ky. (1/31/26) – Arkansas State track and field added one event title and eight top 10 finishes to close out the weekend at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational on Saturday inside the Norton Healthcare Sport and Learning Center.
     
    The Red Wolves were well represented in the men’s shot put, as Chris Boyd claimed the top spot with a distance of 17.32m (56-10.00). Menachem Chen and Omar Hussein finished fifth and sixth while Jared Moore rounded out the top 10 in the event.
     
    A-State throwers have earned four event titles in the 2025-26 indoor campaign, all in the shot put.
     
    Kneila Watson, Syriah Boyd, Je’Breiya Chapman and Jada Buggs posted a time of 3:50.24 in the women’s 4×400 relay to place sixth in the Scarlet and Black’s indoor history for the event. Bruce Payerli, Mehki Hoo, Sheldon Richardson and Spencer Taylor entered the program’s all-time top 10 list on the men’s side of the event with a time of 3:15.43, also placing sixth.
     
    Parker Noffz was the top finisher among A-State runners in the men’s mile, recording a time of 4:10.18 to place 30th. The freshman now stands at 10th in the Red Wolves’ indoor history for the event.
     
    Overall, 10 Red Wolves established new personal bests across six events.
     
    NEXT UP
    A-State track and field is scheduled to open the final month of the indoor season at the Fairgrounds Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the Missouri Invitational in Columbia, Missouri.
