Huntington, W.V. (9/27/25) – The Red Wolves (2-3-4, 0-2-2 SBC) lost to the Thundering Herd (6-3-1, 2-1-1) Saturday evening at Hoops Family Field, 3-0.

Arkansas State pressured early, with two shots in the first 10 minutes, but neither stayed on target to set the score. Marshall scored first in the 44^th minute, driving the ball in off a corner set piece. 

Marshall again scored from the corner at the 60th minute to give the Thundering Herd a 2-0 lead. Tallying 16 total shots, Marshall scored the final goal in the 86^th minute to solidify the score at 3-0.

The Red Wolves return to Jonesboro, hosting Texas State on Thursday, October 2^nd at 4:00p.m.
