Huntington, W.V. (9/27/25) – The Red Wolves (2-3-4, 0-2-2 SBC) lost to the Thundering Herd (6-3-1, 2-1-1) Saturday evening at Hoops Family Field, 3-0.
Arkansas State pressured early, with two shots in the first 10 minutes, but neither stayed on target to set the score. Marshall scored first in the 44th minute, driving the ball in off a corner set piece.
Marshall again scored from the corner at the 60th minute to give the Thundering Herd a 2-0 lead. Tallying 16 total shots, Marshall scored the final goal in the 86th minute to solidify the score at 3-0.
The Red Wolves return to Jonesboro, hosting Texas State on Thursday, October 2nd at 4:00p.m.
