JONESBORO, Ark. (5/2/25) – Arkansas State women’s basketball head coach Destinee Rogers announced the fourth transfer addition to the 2025-26 roster on Friday, signing junior guard Aniyah Ruddock.
“Aniyah is coming from one of the top JUCOs in the country this year,” said Rogers. “She is a three-level scorer that is a flat out winner. She plays hard and plays with a lot of passion. She will be an absolute joy to watch and coach in our system.”
The Pompano Beach, Florida, native arrives in Jonesboro after one season at Chipola College, helping guide the Lady Indians to a 31-4 record and a spot in the 2024-25 NJCAA DI Women’s Basketball Championship Quarterfinals. She averaged 10.0 points per game on a 34.3 percent clip from the floor.
She placed second on the team in three-point shooting, converting 45-of-135 (33.3 percent) shots from deep to rank 117th nationally in three-point percentage. The guard tallied 139 rebounds and dished out 80 assists in the 2024-25 campaign.
Ruddock began her collegiate career at St. Petersburg College, averaging 9.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists as a freshman. She was a standout guard at Blanche Ely High School, earning Broward 7A-6A All-County honors in 2023.
