GULFPORT, Miss. (2/16/26) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team split a pair of matches Monday at the Great River Cup match play event hosted by ULM at Windance Country Club.
A-State opened the day facing Southern Miss and the Golden Eagles came out on top 4-1. Morgan Beaulieu won her match over Taylor Tribble one up while Olivia Coit (one down), Sofia Bastidas (4&3), Caroline Hughes (6&5) and Anne-Lea Lavoie (2&1) came up short. Playing as an individual, Mackenzie Cloutier won her match 2&1.
In the afternoon match, the Red Wolves defeated Memphis 3.5-1.5. Lavoie won 3&1, Coit won 4&2, Hughes earned a two up decision and Beaulieu tied her match. Bastidas was dealt a 3&2 setback to set the result. Cloutier was dealt a 4&2 loss in the afternoon match.
Coit and Beaulieu led A-State with seven birdies on the day while Cloutier dropped in six birdies.
