JONESBORO, Ark. (6/13/25) – Arkansas State soccer head coach Brian Dooley announced the signing of Sydney Veatch on Monday, marking the ninth and final addition to the 2025 roster.
“Sydney will come in and compete immediately,” said Dooley. “She’s a defender who joins the attack and can create chances for us. She’s a leader and first-class teammate”.
The Germantown, Tenn., native joins the Red Wolves following her freshman campaign at Kansas State.
She helped lead Houston High School to a 62-8-5 record with two state runner-up finishes, accounting for 15 goals. The defender received the distinction of team captain ahead of the 2023-24 season, earning Division I All-Metro honors after guiding the Mustangs to a 17-1-2 record and a third-place finish in the state tournament.
Veatch played club soccer with Lobos Rush Memphis and 05/06 Lady Lobos E64.
