JONESBORO, Ark. (8/2/25) – Arkansas State soccer returns to action on Sunday, Aug. 3, for an exhibition against Lindenwood inside the A-State Soccer Complex.
The Red Wolves and Lions have never met on the pitch in the regular season or postseason. The match is the first of two before the home and season opener on Aug. 14 versus Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
A-State added nine newcomers and retained 17 players entering the 2025-26 season. Senior goalkeeper Damaris Deschaine returns following a 2024 season highlighted by five shutouts, 75 saves, a .852 save percentage, and a .938 goals-against average.
She is one of five seniors on the roster, entering the season alongside Gertie Langford, Keelyn Peacock, Keegynn Applegate, and Maya Jones. Peacock led the team in points (8), goals (4), shots (37), and shots-on-goal (15) last season.
