JONESBORO, Ark. (3/18/26) – The Arkansas State women’s basketball team earned a bye to the second round of the WNIT and will host the winner of Radford and Morehead State at First National Bank Arena. The game is currently scheduled for Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m., although the date and time are still subject to change.
The Red Wolves will play in the WNIT for the first time since the 2015-16 season after making their first-ever NCAA Tournament last season, marking the program’s first back-to-back postseason appearances since its two WNIT appearances in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
A-State enters the tournament 24-9 with a 14-4 conference record and a Sun Belt Championship Semifinals appearance. The Red Wolves enter the postseason with their most wins since the 2015-16 season and have already set program records for most threes made and steals.
Game tickets are $10 each and tickets for premium areas (suites and courtside) are $25 each, while A-State students will receive free admission with their ASU student ID. Fans with season tickets, including those located in premium areas, will have first opportunity to purchase those tickets. Those seats will be held until noon Friday, March 20, before being made available to the general public. The Red Wolves Foundation will contact suite holders to determine the number of tickets they would like to purchase.
