    SAINT GEORGE, Utah (3/11/22) – With three golfers inside the top 10 individually, the Arkansas State women’s golf team is second among 16 teams at the Lady Thunderbird Invitational hosted by Southern Utah at Sunbrook Golf Course.
     
    A-State turned in the low round of the day at 7-over par 295. The Red Wolves have a 36-hole total of 597 (+21), one stroke behind Seattle (+20) for the team lead. Weber State is third at 31-over par with South Dakota State fourth (+32) and Southern Utah fifth (+33).
     
    Olivia Schmidt was among three players to go under par Friday as she carded a 2-under par 70  extending her program record to 15 par or better rounds this year. With a total of 146 (+2), Schmidt is tied for third with teammate Kayla Burke. Burke has back-to-back rounds of 1-over par 73 for her 146 total. Charlotte Menager also turned in a 1-over par 73 and is tied for sixth with a 36-hole total of 148 (+4). Casey Sommer has totaled 157 (+13) to tie for 38th and Elise Schultz is tied for 56th at 162 (+18).
