JONESBORO, Ark.  – The Arkansas State Letterwinners Club will induct five new members into A-State’s Hall of Honor during its 46th annual banquet, to be held Friday, Oct. 23, at the Cooper Alumni Center. 

Football’s Robert Kilow and Taylor Stockemer, women’s bowling’s Jordan Richard, women’s soccer’s Loren Mitchell and men’s long jumper Roelf Pienaar will be inducted at the event. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with a social gathering, followed by dinner and the program at 6:30 p.m. The quintet will also be recognized at the Red Wolves’ homecoming football game versus Georgia State on Oct. 24.

Kilow established himself as one of the most prolific all-purpose players in A-State history during his three-year career from 1998-2000. A native of Daleville, Ala., and transfer from Itawamba Community College, Kilow left Jonesboro as the program’s all-time leader in receptions (158) and receiving yards (2,446), while also ranking among the school’s all-time leaders in all-purpose production.

In addition to his receiving accomplishments, Kilow excelled in the return game, totaling 63 kickoff returns for 1,584 yards and 31 punt returns for 300 yards. A four-time First Team All-Big West selection, he concluded his senior season holding single-season school records at the time for receptions (72), receiving yards (1,002), 100-yard receiving games (5), and kick return yards (724). His 1,002 receiving yards in 2000 made him the first player in program history to surpass the 1,000-yard receiving mark in a season. He also set the program career record for kick return yards with 1,504.
 
One of the most dynamic players in school history, Kilow produced a then-school-record 377 all-purpose yards against Ole Miss in 1999, including 254 receiving yards and 123 kickoff return yards. His impact on the program was later recognized with his selection to Arkansas State’s All-Centennial Team in 2014, where he was named one of eight wide receivers honored on the squad.

Stockemer concluded his Arkansas State career as one of the program’s most accomplished wide receivers, earning recognition as one of eight receivers selected to the A-State All-Centennial Team in 2014. The Van Buren, Ark., native finished his career ranked third in school history in receiving yards with 2,146 and totaled 129 receptions, the fourth-most in program history at the time.

A two-time Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt Conference selection, Stockemer established a school record with 16 career touchdown receptions during his time in Jonesboro. He played a key role in helping the Red Wolves capture consecutive Sun Belt Conference championships in 2011 and 2012.

Stockemer delivered one of the finest postseason performances in program history at the 2012 GoDaddy.com Bowl, setting bowl game records with 11 receptions and 185 receiving yards. Recognized for his success both on the field and in the classroom, he was named to the 2013 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. Following his collegiate career, Stockemer signed as a free agent with the Miami Dolphins.

Richard established herself as one of the most accomplished student-athletes in Arkansas State bowling history and one of the premier collegiate bowlers of her generation. One of only three collegiate bowlers ever to earn National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) National Player of the Year honors multiple times, the Tecumseh, Mich., native was a two-time National Player of the Year and three-time First-Team All-American during her remarkable career with the Red Wolves.

Richard concluded her A-State career holding school records with 19 All-Tournament selections and seven tournament MVP awards, while consistently ranking among the nation’s elite bowlers. She led Arkansas State in scoring average throughout her career, including a team-best 214.91 average as a junior and 213.62 average as a senior, helping solidify her status among the program’s all-time greats.

Internationally, Richard’s success began as a member of Junior Team USA, where she captured two medals at the 2016 World Bowling Youth Championships, earning silver in the team event and bronze in singles competition. Since joining Team USA in 2018, she has added an impressive collection of international achievements, winning seven gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals across multiple world championship events.

Richard transitioned seamlessly to the professional ranks, joining the Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA) Tour in 2018. She was named PWBA Rookie of the Year after claiming her first professional title in just her fourth career event. In 2023, she earned PWBA Player of the Year honors, finishing nearly 16,000 points ahead of the next closest competitor in the season standings. With seven PWBA Tour titles to her credit, Richard continues to excel on the sport’s biggest stages and is slated to represent Team USA at the 2026 International Bowling Federation World Cup in Munich, Germany.

Mitchell stands among the most accomplished players in A-State soccer history, finishing her career as the program’s all-time leader in both goals (23) and points (54). A dynamic offensive threat throughout her career, Mitchell left a lasting mark on the Red Wolves record book with her scoring ability and versatility on the field.

The First Team All-Sun Belt Conference selection enjoyed a record-setting campaign in 2013, establishing single-season program records with 12 goals, five game-winning goals, and 28 points. Her offensive production helped elevate the A-State program and cemented her place among the league’s top players.

Mitchell concluded her career with 23 goals and 54 points, both school records at the time. Demonstrating remarkable versatility and team-first commitment, she made a successful transition during her senior season in 2015 from her natural striker position to the defensive backline, providing leadership and stability while continuing to make an impact for the Red Wolves.

Pienaar concluded his A-State career as one of the most decorated track and field athletes in program history, earning six USTFCCCA All-America honors and establishing himself among the nation’s elite jumpers. A native of Potchefstroom, South Africa, Pienaar dominated Sun Belt Conference competition, capturing nine conference championships, including sweeps of the outdoor long jump and triple jump titles in 2014, 2015 and 2016, while also claiming three indoor conference crowns.

Over the course of his standout career, Pienaar amassed 20 regular-season event victories, including 12 indoor titles and eight outdoor championships. He remains the A-State record holder in the long jump both indoors and outdoors, posting marks of 7.97 meters (26-1.75) indoors and 8.13 meters (26-8.25) outdoors. In the triple jump, he ranks among the program’s all-time best, standing fourth indoors with a mark of 15.94 meters (52-3.75) and sixth outdoors at 16.13 meters (52-11.00).

Pienaar competed in six NCAA Championship meets, consistently performing on the sport’s biggest stage. He recorded three top-three national finishes, highlighted by a runner-up finish in the long jump at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championships. He also earned third-place finishes at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Championships and the 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships in the long jump, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest jumpers ever to compete for the Red Wolves.
