JONESBORO, Ark. (2/4/26) – Arkansas State head football coach Butch Jones announced Wednesday on National Signing Day that the Red Wolves have added a high school signee, a junior college signee, and 31 transfers to the Red Wolves’ 2026 signing class.
Although just one of the 33 players announced today is a high school recruit, A-State has 21 total high school signees in the class, the fourth consecutive season with 20-plus high school additions. Thirty-eight of the remaining class members are either FBS (18), FCS (11), NCAA Division II (2), or JUCO (7) transfers. Including 38 transfers and nine early enrollees announced in December, 47 members of the class will be available to participate in A-State’s upcoming spring camp.
Since the December early signing date, A-State has added 13 players on the offensive side of the ball, including quarterbacks Drew Dickey (Vanderbilt), Jaden Haly (Sacred Heart), Trey Owens (Texas) and Jérémy St-Hilaire (Vanderbilt). Running backs Ezell Jolly (Kilgore College / UTEP) and Corey Reddick (Valdosta State), wide receiver Boski Barrett (Vanderbilt), tight ends Joshua Burrell (Furman) and Jaden Hamm (Kansas), and offensive linemen Landry Cannon (Tulane), Talan Chandler (Northwestern / Missouri), Manasse Itete (Florida State) and Sterling Wiggins (North Carolina A&T) join the 2026 roster.
Defensively, A-State added 16 players to the class, including Sultan Badmus (Temple), Tyeland Coleman (Florida State), Sam Hultz (Pittsburg State), Nicolas Kalume (Maine), Donquarius Parker (North Carolina Central), Elias Sherman (Maine), AJ Thomas (McNeese / Tulane) and Shakai Woods (Middle Tennessee) on the defensive line. Linebackers Kam Moore (UCF), Joshua Ofor (NC State) and Tre Stevens (Lafayette College) join defensive backs Noah Flores (Utah State), Dontrae Henderson (Indiana), Jaylen Heyward (UCF), Bryson Ross (Portland State) and Makai Shahid (Youngstown State) on the 2026 roster. Long snapper Riley Smith (Furman) and punter Daniel Vuckovic (Northern Illinois) also joined the class.
The entire class is made up of 59 players, 57 of which led their teams to the state playoffs while in high school. The group consists of 41 players who were listed as at least a three-star prospect by either 247, ESPN, On3 or Rivals coming out of high school, including five that garnered four-star distinction. Out of the 21 high school signees, all are rated as a three-star recruit.
The current class in total includes 26 offensive players, 31 defensive players and two specialists. A-State added 24 to the trenches, nine on the offensive line and 15 on the defensive line. The Red Wolves added seven linebackers, six wide receivers, five safeties, four quarterbacks, four running backs, four cornerbacks, three tight ends, a punter and a long snapper.
A-State added nine players from Texas, eight from Mississippi, seven from Georgia, six from Florida and Tennessee, three from Louisiana, two from Alabama and North Carolina and one each from Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Washington D.C. The Red Wolves also added players from The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Canada and Ireland.
