PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (9/9/25) – Totaling 16-over par 868, the Arkansas State women’s golf team finished fifth among 20 teams at the Golfweek Fall Challenge played at Caledonia Golf Club.
A-State carded a final round 6-over par 290 to wrap up the season opener. The Red Wolves were eight shots back of Coastal Carolina for fourth while Charlotte (-7) took home the team title. High Point (+4) and UNC Wilmington (+6) were second and third, respectively.
Anne-Lea Lavoie was the top finisher for A-State at 1-over par 214 following a 6-over par 77 in the final round. Morgan Beaulieu posted a 1-over par 72 for the second consecutive round to total 2-over par 215 for the week and a tie for 17th. Sofia Bastidas was just outside the top 20, tying for 21st at 4-over par 217 following a final round 1-over par 72. Ceci Lococo wrapped up her A-State debut at 15-over par 228 while Olivia Coit had her best round of the week at even-par 71 to finish up at 17-over par 230.
The Red Wolves return to action September 20-22 at the Schooner Fall Classic hosted by the University of Oklahoma at Belmar Golf Club.
