JONESBORO, Ark. (5/12/25) – Arkansas State baseball head coach Mike Silva announced the addition of sophomore infielder Lane Walton to the 2026 roster on Monday.
The Sugar Land, Texas, native will join the program following his freshman campaign at Hill College. He batted .325 at the plate with a .406 on-base percentage and .528 slugging percentage through May 11, tallying 56 RBIs on 60 hits and 7 home runs.
The shortstop ranks inside the top 50 among NJCAA hitters for runs scored (13th), RBIs (17th), triples (19th), stolen bases (39th), total bases (41st), and home runs (44th). Walton is the 11th signee to the 2025 A-State baseball recruiting class, which can be viewed below.
