JONESBORO, Ark. (9/28/26) – The Arkansas State football team’s kickoff time for its Sun Belt Conference home opener Thursday, October 8, against South Alabama has been set for 6:30 p.m. and will be nationally-televised on ESPN2.

The contest will mark 15th all-time meeting between the Red Wolves and Jaguars. A-State has won the last two meetings in the series with field goals inside the final 10 seconds in both contests setting the final margin. Of the 15 all-time meetings, eight have been decided by seven or fewer points.

A-State begins Sun Belt Conference play with a trip to Louisiana on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. inside Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium. The matchup will be broadcast on ESPN+, and the radio broadcast of the game can be heard across the EAB Red Wolves Sports Network, including the flagship station 107.9 KFIN in Jonesboro.
