JONESBORO, Ark. (5/6/26) – Announced during the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships Selection Show Wednesday on the GOLF Channel, Sun Belt Conference champion Arkansas State is set to play in the Marana Regional May 18-20 as the No. 8 seed.
The Red Wolves learned their NCAA Regional destination alongside a crowd of supporters on hand for a selection show watch party held at The Social. Making its eighth all-time appearance in the NCAA Championships, A-State is one of 14 teams and five individuals that will compete in the Marana Regional at The Gallery Golf Club.
A-State will play a practice round Sunday, May 17 before opening competition on Monday, May 18 at 7:30 a.m. local. The second and third rounds tee off at 7:30 a.m. local with the low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional advancing to the finals May 29-June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
Including the Red Wolves at No. 44 in the latest rankings, the tournament will feature 11 top 100 programs, including eight in the top 50. No. 5 Oklahoma State is the top-ranked team in the field joined by No. 8 LSU, No. 18 Arizona, No. 20 Alabama, No. 29 Duke, No. 33 Clemson, No. 41 San Diego State, No. 55 West Virginia, No. 57 Florida Gulf Coast, No. 67 Saint Mary’s, No. 110 Tarleton State, No. 177 North Dakota State and No. 216 Iona.
Champions of the Sun Belt Conference for the third time in program history, A-State finished the year at 136-19-1 with wins at the Colorado Invitational, Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, The Saint Mary’s Invitational and A-State Spring Invitational.
