MILWAUKEE, Wis. (9/24/25) – Arkansas State women’s tennis will compete in the prestigious Milwaukee Tennis Classic from Sept. 25-28 at the Western Racquet Club.

“It’s a blessing to have our entire team represent Arkansas State in such a prestigious tournament with so much history,” head coach Sujay Lama said. “It’s one of my favorite events, and our ladies will enjoy facing players from all over the country. Our mission is simple: be the team that prepares and competes the hardest.”

All six Red Wolves made the trip to Wisconsin. The tournament will feature players from 16 teams split into separate draws for singles and doubles.

The tournament will begin on Thursday, Sept. 25 with doubles play in the morning, before having singles competition take up the remainder of the day. The format continues as the tournament moves into later rounds before concluding with champions crowned on Sunday.

Anna Grigoreva and Meghna Arun Kumar meet a pair from Miami (OH) in their first doubles match of the tournament. Sarah Millard and Hanmare McAslin face a duo from Purdue and Carla Muro. Castellvi and Lilly Cvanciger are matched up against a doubles pair from South Florida.

In the singles draw, McAslin meets Karolina Jacobson of Wisconsin while Millard will battle Lola Glantz of Western Michigan. Lilly Cvanciger received a bye to the round of 32 where she will play the winner between Brooklyn Olson of Ole Miss and Martina Bovio of Lipscomb. Muro Castellvi meets Francesca Miglio of South Florida, Meghna Arun Kumar opens aginst Avery Voss (Miami OH) and Grigoreva battles Emma Gu (Navy).
