Weather Forces Change to A-State Baseball Weekend Schedule
JONESBORO, Ark. (4/20/18) – The threat of inclement weather has forced the Arkansas State baseball team to move up its series finale against Troy, originally scheduled for Sunday, to Saturday to be included as part of a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m.
A high chance of rain throughout the day Sunday in the Jonesboro area prompted the change in the weekend schedule. The second game of the series will now start at 2 p.m., with the series finale to follow approximately 30 minutes after. The second game of the doubleheader will be broadcast by ESPN3, but the first game will not.
Friday’s series opener against the Trojans is unaffected and still set for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch from Tomlinson Stadium.
For the latest on A-State baseball follow the team by logging onto the Arkansas State Baseball Facebook page or by following the team on Twitter (@AStateBaseball) and Instagram (arkansasstatebaseball).
