The world watched peaceful protesters in front of the White House being teargassed so President Trump could leave his bunker and walk across the street to St. James Episcopal Church. The President was concerned he was not exuding a strong image, but by deploying the military to police Americans has raised Constitutional questions.
April Ryan speaks with Dr. Alison Galvani, Director of the Center for Infectious Disease Modeling and Analysis at Yale University, who expresses concern of the wanton use of tear gas and the affect on respiratory systems, and the close proximity of protesters, many without masks. And calls out the hypocrisy of heavy handed policing of those protesting violations of human rights compared to the hands-off approach to armed militias who stormed state capitols.
