    JONESBORO, Ark. (11/21/23) – Six members of the Arkansas State women’s soccer team have been awarded College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.

    Repping the Red Wolves on this year’s list are Phoebe Harpole, Olivia Luther, Emma Riales, Mckenzie Robinson, Darby Stotts and Aliyah Williamson. The Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

    Harpole played in 15 matches, starting 15, while ranking second on the team with 24 shots and 10 shots on goal. She logged 1,038 minutes in the midfield. Academically, she has a 3.73 GPA while pursuing a bachelor’s in nursing.

    Starting in goal in 11 matches and appearing in 12 total fixtures, Luther finished the year with 61 saves and a 1.62 goals-against average. She scored two goals, both on penalties, and played 1,003 minutes between the posts. In the classroom, Luther carries a 4.0 GPA in the nutrition sciences graduate program.

    Making the transition to centerback, Emma Riales started all 16 matches and led the team with 1,406 minutes played. She had one assist, nine shots and five shots on frame. Academically, she has a 3.90 GPA while pursuing a bachelor’s in creative media production.

    Mckenzie Robinson ranked second on the team with 1,376 minutes played and had two assists from her defender position. In the classroom, Robinson has a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a bachelor’s in strategic communication.

    Darby Stotts tied for the team lead in goals (3) and led in points (7). She had 22 shots on the season, 11 on goal, and one of her three goals was a game-winner. Stotts carries a 4.0 GPA in elementary education. Williams tied for the team-high with three goals and was second with six points. Williamson carries a 3.85 GPA in psychology.
