JONESBORO, Ark. (11/14/22) – A standout guard out of the talent-rich state of Texas is set to join the Arkansas State women’s basketball program in 2023-24, as head coach Destinee Rogers announced the signing of Crislyn Rose for the class of 2023.
Hailing from Sachse, Texas, Rose led Sachse High School to a bi-district title as a junior, averaging 16.3 points per game and shooting a blistering 63 percent from the field.
“Crislyn is a skilled player that can score on all three levels,” Rogers said. “She fits our program and is a great student-athlete. She will be a joy to coach and I can’t wait to get her to campus.”
The point guard also averaged 3.2 steals and 2.5 assists en route to being named District 9-6A MVP. Rose eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career in that bi-district championship game.
