VAIL, Colo. (9/26/23) – With the course average playing six strokes over par, the Arkansas State women’s golf team turned in a 22-over par 310 and stands tied for sixth among 16 teams at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic.
A-State has totaled 25-over par 601 (291-310) over the first two rounds at Red Sky Golf Club and is tied with Kennesaw State for sixth. Pepperdine leads at 3-under par 573 followed by High Point (+14), New Mexico State (+16), Boise State (+22) and Mercer (+23) in the top five.
Olivia Coit paces the Red Wolves with a 36-hole total of 1-over par 145 (72-73) and is tied for 12th individually. Aided by two eagles in the first round, Coit leads the field playing the par 5s at 5-under par thus far. Charlotte Menager is tied for 16th at 4-over par 148 (69-79) while Anne-Lea Lavoie is tied for 40th with a total of 9-over par 153 (74-79). Ashley Kim (+11) and Madison Tenore (+17) are tied for 52nd and tied for 76th, respectively.
