HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (10/23/23) – Totaling 7-under 281, the Arkansas State women’s golf team tied the program record low round and stands fourth among 17 teams after 36 holes of the Diamante Intercollegiate.
A-State is 5-under 571 (290-281) through 36 holes, the second-lowest 36-hole total in program history. Boston College leads the field at 21-under with California Baptist (-14) and Central Arkansas (-8) rounding out the top three. Memphis (-4) is fifth with host Little Rock (-2) sixth.
Freshman Ashley Kim had the low round of the day for A-State with a 5-under 67 Tuesday, tied for the third-lowest round in program history. Kim is tied for 12th individually at 3-under 141 (74-67) with Olivia Coit tied for 23rd at 1-under 143 (73-70). Playing as an individual, Elise Schultz has totaled 6-under 138 (66-72) to stand fifth, three strokes back of Canice Screene of Boston College for the individual lead. Anne-Lea Lavoie was even-par Tuesday, highlighted by an ace on the par-3 12th, to join Coit in a tie for 23rd overall. Morgan Beaulieu is tied for 33rd (+1), Charlotte Menager is tied for 62nd (+5) and Shannon Berry is 93rd (+16).
