Rally in Jonesboro to Draw Attention to Mass Incarceration

JONESBORO, ARKANSAS – There will be a rally to raise awareness of mass incarceration that will take place May 19, 2018 at the Greater Dimensions World Outreach Ministries Church, 3307 Race Street in Jonesboro, where Apostle Carlos A. Turner is the pastor. The event will begin with a special showing of the movie “The House I Live In” at 10:30 a.m. followed by the rally at 12:00 p.m. Special guest speakers are Arkansas State Representatives Brandt Smith from Craighead County and Monte Hodges from Mississippi County. Free food will be provided and music will be by KLEK 102.5 F.M. The event will be hosted by Future for Felons, a nonprofit organization formed to help convicted felons get a second chance at life.
