Morehouse, Spelman Receive $5 Million Grant Towards Center for Black Entrepreneurship

Mastercard has announced it’s giving out a total of $5 million in grants to Morehouse and Spelman Colleges in effort to develop the Center for Black Entrepreneurship.

According to WSB-TV, the Center for Black Entrepreneurship will help develop cutting-edge programming, thought leadership, networking and mentorship opportunities for aspiring Black entrepreneurs.

Morehouse College and Spelman College will establish the Center for Black Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the Black Economic Alliance Foundation, and Mastercard.

The Center for Black Entrepreneurship will be located on Spelman College and Morehouse College’s campuses with the former planning to house it in its new academic facility, the Center for Innovation & the Arts, while the latter will house it within a new facility on campus.
