“Live with the Red Wolves” to Air Arizona Bowl Edition

November 30, 2018

JONESBORO, Ark. (11/30/18) – A special bowl-game edition of the “Live with the Red Wolves Presented by Super Sport Chevy Dealers” radio program will be conducted Monday, Dec. 3, at Lost Pizza Co. in Jonesboro and air live from 6-7 p.m. on originating-station KFIN 107.9 FM.


In addition to KFIN, the show will air on many of the EAB Red Wolves Sports Network affiliates.  It will also be broadcast online at and  Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to get up close and personal with the Red Wolves while enjoying the great food and atmosphere provide at Lost Pizza Co. (906 Southwest Drive).


Matt Stolz, “The Voice of the Red Wolves” will host the popular show as several A-State football players are set to appear on the program and take questions from the guests in attendance.  The Red Wolves had 17 players, the second most in school history, named All-Sun Belt Conference this week.


A-State recently accepted an invitation to play in the 2018 NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl at Arizona Stadium on Dec. 29 at 12:15 p.m. (CT).  Making its eighth consecutive and 16th all-time bowl-game appearance, A-State will play a Mountain West Conference opponent in Tucson, Ariz.


Arkansas State most recently played in the 2017 Camellia Bowl, one year after defeating UCF in the Cure Bowl.  A-State also appeared in the 2015 New Orleans Bowl, which followed four consecutive trips to the GoDaddy Bowl that is now known as the Dollar General Bowl.


The Red Wolves completed the regular season with an 8-4 overall record and as the Sun Belt Conference West Division co-champions.  Their eight victories matches their third highest total since moving to FBS status in 1992.  A-State has secured a school-record eight consecutive winning seasons and piled up 67 victories from 2011-18 for its most over an eight-year span in the program’s 104-year history.
