
According to CNN, rapper and Trump supporter Lil Wayne, who was born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was charged on November 17 with possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon.
In December, he reportedly had a handgun in his luggage while in Miami, Florida. Due to being a convicted felon, Wayne was prohibited from possessing a firearm. The Miami Herald also claims law enforcement found bullets, drugs and nearly $26,000 in cash. His lawyer told CNN In a statement, “There is no allegation that he ever fired it, brandished it, used it or threatened to use it.” Lil Wayne is now facing 10 years in prison.
