The Dean B. Ellis Library clock tower will be lighted red this evening (Friday, Oct. 4) in memory of A-State student Lawson Wherry.

Chancellor Kelly Damphousse issued this statement today:

Beth and I join the A-State family in mourning the passing of our friend and student, Lawson Wherry. We will honour his life by lighting the Arkansas State University Library – Dean B. Keep his close friends and family in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.  As a reminder, if anyone needs someone to talk to, reach out to Pack Support and our CARE team of counselors at [email protected].
