JONESBORO, Ark. (10/9/22) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team is set to its annual home tournament, the Lady Red Wolves Classic, Oct. 10-11 at Sage Meadows Country Club.
The 54-hole tournament will include two rounds of competition Monday and one Tuesday, both days beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The 15-team field features Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Houston Christian, Memphis, North Alabama, Omaha, Samford, Southern Miss, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M-Commerce, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Troy and ULM.
A-State has picked up the Lady Red Wolves Classic championship in six of the last 11 years. The tournament will be the fourth for the Red Wolves this season. In the lineup for A-State will be Olivia Schmidt, Morgan Beaulieu, Charlotte Menager, Kayla Burke and Thitapha Iamtragul. Elise Schultz, Olivia Coit, Sydni Leung and Casey Sommer will also compete as the A-State ‘B’ side.
