June 15, 2019. Setup begins at 6:00 a.m.
Begins at 11:00 a.m.
Cash Prize for 1st Place (Amount to be determined based on number of entrants) & trophy, 2nd and 3rd Place will get a trophy.

TWO Meat Categories: Pork Ribs and Chicken (Meat will be provided to contestants upon check in)
“MEAT CANNOT ALREADY BE MARINATED”.
Upon arrival inspectors will inspect all meat to make sure it is free of any marinades or dry rubs, preferably in a sealed package. The inspector also will check to make sure that the meat is held at 40 degrees or less.
Once inspected, meat may not leave the competition area. After inspection any dry rubs, marinades, injections, etc. can be applied to meat as the competitor wishes.J
Submission times will be assigned and presented at registration.
Competitors will put one sample in each container for each judge in the given container (there will be no more than 6 judges). The judges will judge each competitors’ samples.
Each designated time (possibly every half hour) a different meat is turned in for judging. Judges will check sample for appearance, taste and tenderness.
Judges will assign values for each of the three categories for both the pork ribs and the chicken (appearance, taste, tenderness). The competitor with the highest overall score will win the cookoff.
