JONESBORO – With the resumption of online classes Tuesday following spring break, Dean B. Ellis Library is reminding the campus community about hours and helpful online resources, according to Jeff Bailey, director.

For A-State students and faculty, the library will follow a schedule of limited hours for the remainder of the semester: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 12-6 p.m.; and Sunday, 2-9 p.m.
Most library personnel are working from home, but a limited number are onsite during these hours to assist students and faculty. Unfortunately, due to the importance of social distancing during the coronavirus crisis, the limited library services are available only to A-State faculty and students.
“The Library has distributed our open use computers more widely to better facilitate continued social distancing,” Bailey said. “We have computers available on the second, third, fourth and fifth floors.”
Bailey added the library staff can provide faculty and staff with expert help and a variety of services.
Through the site Ask us 24/7, A-State librarians and other university librarians are available for consultation any time.
Bailey listed several other online resources for students and faculty through the Ellis Library website that he considers particularly helpful:
He also listed these as particularly helpful to researchers:
“Use our links to resources to authenticate as an Arkansas State University student, faculty or staff member,” Bailey added. “If you need assistance contact Wendy Crist at [email protected].”
