Washington, D.C. – Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the repatriation of the remains of Korean War veterans:

“America leaves no fallen soldier behind, no matter how long it takes to fulfill that promise. We hope that today’s transfer of remains will be the first step in repatriating and laying to rest the many heroes who gave their lives in defense of our nation more than sixty years ago. We thank the scientists and other professionals at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency for their hard work and dedication. May God bless them and their work in the days ahead as they strive to identify these remains and return them to their loved ones.”
