Washington, D.C. – Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s recommendation to the Federal Communications Commission to deny China Mobile’s application to enter the U.S. market:
“The NTIA is right to recognize the threat posed by China Mobile, especially given Beijing’s long track record of espionage, both political and economic. The FCC should be on guard against any threats to U.S. national security and block China Mobile from entering our market.”
