Build Back Better: Biden Plan to Advance Racial Equity, Address Wealth Gap

July 28, 2020

Vice President Biden shared his Build Back Better plan today with media. The plan is meant to advance racial equity across the American economy, addressing the wealth gap.

A recent report says it will take almost 250 years to close the wealth gap between white & Black Americans, stretched further by COVID. The pandemic has shone a bright light on racial disparities in health and health care as well as higher unemployment rates and shuttered businesses impacting Black America.
