Beyonce surprised and delighted her fans on Monday night when she released her latest single, “Break My Soul.” And that, of course, was hours before it was originally expected. Well, the 40-year-old hitmaker dropped the song, which is saturated with danceable beats, at 10:00 PM Eastern time even though it wasn’t promised until midnight. But you know how Beyonce always breaks her own rules.
“Break My Soul” is the first advanced single from the upcoming seventh studio album Renaissance. The song seems to be the sixth track on Renaissance and appears to have bypassed several streaming platforms, including Spotify, in favor of Tidal because, you know, Jay-Z is co-owner of the company.
According to a report from Variety, Beyonce’s upcoming Renaissance will feature a diverse array of songs touching on country and dance music.
Vanessa Bryant paid tribute to her late husband, Kobe Bryant, as she marked Father’s Day on Sunday, more than two years after his passing.
Well, Vanessa captioned a photo of her with Kobe, the late Lakers great who was wearing a Darth Vader T-shirt reading number one dad as he posed with his arm slung over her shoulder:
Many celebrities were paying tribute to special men in their lives on Father’s Day. Justin Bieber and Kate Hudson kicked off the day with heartfelt tributes to their fathers.
Speaking of dads, Jamie Foxx was spotted enjoying a holiday in the south of France with his friends earlier this week. The 54-year-old entertainer showed off his luxurious fashion sense as he walked the beach in a wide brim hat and silk shirt. He later took a phone call on the balcony of his yacht. Jamie also found time to jump on Instagram on Friday and Saturday to tout his spirit, Brown Sugar Bourbon. He was then seen pouring out beverages for attendees at an elegant event, complete with servers and dancers.
