@AStateBowling Remains in Third at Lady Techsters Invitational

January 16, 2021

SAVANNAH, TENN.  (1/16/20) – The Arkansas State Women’s bowling team is in third place, with a total pinfall of 9,318 after two days of competition at the Lady Techsters Invitational in Savannah, Tenn.

“We have to find a way to play better”, said A-State head bowling coach Justin Kostick. “The lanes are challenging, but we are better than how we are playing. We still have a chance to win the tournament, but I’m happy to have the opportunity to compete again.”

Faith Welch received all-tournament honors after registering a total pinfall of 1,042 for an impressive 208.40 average. The all-tournament recognition marks the first of her career.

I am proud of Faith for finishing second overall. She has worked hard to get where she is. Making an all-tournament team in her hometown is a cool accomplishment”, Kostick added.
